What does an EICR cover?
An electrician will visit your property and conduct a visual assessment of all accessible mains-connected wiring and fixtures. The electrician will then perform both dead tests (with all power turned off) and live tests (with the power turned out) and assess the overall condition of all electrical work against current regulations to ensure that it is safe and compliant with current safety standards.

What will my EICR show?
Your report will state whether the electrical installations are "satisfactory" or "unsatisfactory" and flag any issues using the following codes:
- C1 (Danger present): Immediate action is required to remove the risk of injury.
- C2 (Potentially dangerous): Urgent action is required to avoid a potentially dangerous situation.
- C3 ( Further investigation required): Indicates that more work is needed to determine the cause of the issue.
- C4 (Improvement recommended): The defect does not currently compromise safety but should be improved.

Why are EICRs important?
