Severn Avenue

Severn Avenue is a sheltered accommodation development consisting of 5 separate blocks of flats, designed to meet the needs of elderly residents. The development prioritizes safety, accessibility, and comfort, providing residents with a supportive and inclusive living environment. Each block incorporates communal spaces and essential facilities to encourage social interaction, independence, and a strong sense of community among the residents.

The project incorporates a Solshare system combined with battery storage, representing an advanced and sustainable energy solution. The Solshare system allows solar-generated electricity to be efficiently shared across multiple flats, while the battery storage ensures excess energy can be stored and used when needed, reducing reliance on the grid. This setup maximizes the use of renewable energy, lowers energy costs for residents, and enhances the building’s overall energy efficiency. By integrating solar technology with storage, Severn Avenue demonstrates a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and environmentally responsible housing solutions for elderly communities.
