Approved Electrician (Full Time)

We are an established and growing building services contractor delivering high-quality electrical, renewable energy, and maintenance projects across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a fully qualified Approved Electrician with proven experience in solar PV installation and maintenance to join our skilled team.

As an Approved Electrician you will carry out a wide range of electrical works, including installation, testing, fault finding, and maintenance. A significant part of the role involves working on renewable energy projects, particularly solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, so practical solar experience is essential.

• Install, test, inspect and certify electrical installations in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Plan, install, and commission solar PV systems (roof-mounted and ground-mounted).
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including PV system maintenance and inverter replacement.
• Ensure compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and all relevant health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with clients, site managers, and other trades to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Complete all required documentation, certificates, and electronic reporting accurately.
